Do you mean the Montana Marginata? I do have one of those that has not yet achieved its full size. It struggled in inhospitable soil last year and has spent this summer recouperating. I could give you a small start of it. Maybe by next summer it will hit its stride.

I also have Royal Standard, which is doing very well.

I have Honey Bells too, which is very good sized hosta.

The name of the largest leaf hosta I have is unknown to me. The woman who gave it to me 2 years ago did not know its name. The leaf is enormous, tending to the lime green, and as wide as it is long.

Do any of these sound good to you? Are you planning to come to the southern MN fall swap in Kenyon? It is at my house and I could dig hosta for you after you have had a chance to look at them. Carmellia

For your purpose the unnamed enormous light green would probably be great. Even as large as the leaves are, they don't lay down in a neat curved mound as is the regular hosta habit. They stand up almost erect giving an almost tropical foliage look. I sure wish I could identify exactly what hosta it is. It is strikingly beautiful without looking manicured. Carmellia
