We have 8 lilac bushes, two are planted in a different area. All of them formed flowers and bloomed and have been done for over a week now. There is one lilac bush that formed flowerbuds but they never opened up to bloom, I wonder why? This is one of the two planted in a different area then the rest. I know our springs was unseasonable cool, cloudy and rainy, could that have something to do with it? But the others did bloom so?

Thanks for anything you can do to help, we just moved to this place last fall so this was the first time to see the lilacs bloom, maybe we should prune that one down to rejuvenate it?
