Vermiculite, perlite, a bale of peat, plant labels, and new tubes for my plant lights. If I've been a really good girl (probably haven't), I'd like another seed starting mat. I know that's stretching it. Can you guess how I spend my winter months?

Oh, more snow would be good. My gardens would really appreciate it. Sledding would be much easier. Hope Mother Nature will come through.

I am not sure where you live Kate, but around here Mother Nature has sure came through with the snow. Its magical, my little boy is in 7th heaven! He can't wait to go sledding and snowmobiling. He is outside right now helping Dad plow out the driveway.

Yep, no problem with a lack of snow here either... especially not after yesterday!

I am making snow angels and sledding in happiness.

Even though I can think of garden-related things....try FINDING them in the stores at this time of year!
We're good on snow, too. Glad we finally have some, but this cold can go away anytime!

When, my husband asked. I thought, I would like some different plants from the mail order catalogs, that I like, but would never buy myself. He thought that was great and I'm so excited to pick out a couple plants! I also asked for some bags of dirt. I'm going to try winter sowing.

Winter sowing is THE way to go for all of your zone hardy perennials!!
