Rust on shingles

Seen a great house today. Ready to buy it. A Problem though. The (duct) venting thru the roof was obviously rusting. This rust was then running down along the shingles thus discoloring the shingles. My gal Clo asked me "Any way clean shingles ?" My answer was, I don't know of any way. So, now i'm reaching out. Thanks for any/all comments/opinions

kinda exciting,Curt! hopefully these are small fixes. These are roof asphalt shingles? People have their roofs professionally, presumably a light pressure wash? What colour is it? Maybe test wash with some CLR or other rust treatment, WINK or Lime Away???

Oh no problem, Curt. I hope its good advise they have. Another place I was reading about leaving that Zud cleaner on it to soak a bit too said it worked great. Hope you get the house!
