My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Diploid and triploid also means that with more than the usual amount of chromosomes the plant can have more distinctive characteristics...like thick substance, ruffling etc. Linda C
Hosta, as a rule, are diploids. Tetraploids have 2x the chromosomes as the typical hosta. You can not be certain of a plant being tet just by looking at it - it must be tested in a lab to know for sure. There are some clues that we can see, though...heavier substance, wider margins. There are getting to be a lot of tet hostas that have sported or been intentionally induced from dip hostas...

Epiphany was discovered by Winterberry Farms. Unfortunately, it was only offered for a single season before they went out of business. I don't have the plant and suspect there are only a few out there.
