In my opinion, the wall color and rug to not work with the bed and chairs at all. They are much clearer tones and the bed/chairs are much more muted. You could go in several directions - the cream of the lampshade would be nice if you don't wan't a lot of color. Purple (see the silk flowers?) would be stunning. An orange-rust would also be great. Check out these Benjamin Moore colors: 103, 062, 1256, 1257, 1356, 1364, 1371, 1378, 1385. Color is such a personal choice. I love bright and deep colors. Some of these are fairly light and some very deep and dramatic. Think about the type of mood you want in the room first. I always do samples for clients. You can purchase small samples for about 10.00 each and it is enough to put 2 coats on a piece of foam core board. Let it dry and sit for several days. Some of the dark colors will need that much time to get to their true color. Then you can move the boards around your room and see them in different spaces. Also look at the colors in both the daytime, when you get natural light, and at night, when you do not.
