Fig transplant

I dug a fairly large Ficus carica out of a local garden yesterday. The tree had been growing there for just over ten years. by the time I got it out of the ground it was bare root because all the dirt had come off. I did manage to get hoards of roots. When I planted it in my garden I used a good amount of transplanter liquid. Any thoughts on transplanting figs, and their survival rate? I'm hoping it survives because it is a very nice tree. It is loaded with figs from last year, but I will be removing those. If I didn't take it the owner was going to saw it down. Cheers, Joe
