I have already started lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, in the garage. Lettuce, Spinach, parsley, bok choy in the ground.

You can sow other things in the ground now, but they won't germinate until the soil heats up. Check the back of the package and use a thermometer to check the soil temp. I have a meat one and it worked fine. Definitely start tomatoes inside though or you'll never get them to ripen before the first frost.

You might want to check the winter sowing forum. Read the FAQS. Then ask your questions on the forum. Lots of people to help you get started.

I have an unheated greenhouse, which naturally is almost exactly the same temp as the outside--just frost and wind protected, like a big coldframe. This year I experimented with five (supposedly) winter hardy seeds--lettuce, bok choi, radishes, broccoli raab and mache. All are supposed to germinate in cold soil. I planted some in greenhouse raised bed without protection, some in a small "greenhouse inside the greenhouse hoop house" and some in the windowsill in my kitchen in normal temps. Forget planting in the cold. The ones in the windowsill sprouted in 2-3 days. The ones in the unprotected raised bed in greenhouse NEVER sprouted (it's 9 days later now) and the ones in the "greehouse within a greenhouse hoop house" inside the greenhouse finally sprouted after 7 days. So start them in your windowsill, gradually harden off, then plant outside with some frost protection (like a row cover or small plastic hoop house) in about March. Good luck. I'm learning too.
