Native trees for wet hard clay

I am looking at what native trees are best for a sunny area in the Willamette Valley that has hard red clay which appears to be saturated during the winter but will be dry during the summer. There is also some irrigation during the summer.

So far it seems that Ponderosa Pine is recommended to just about any soil type. Any other suggestions for native trees to Oregon?
