Hi,

I sowed some spinach, cabbage and cauliflower and onion sets outside 2 weeks ago. I dont see anything germinating yet. Is it still too cold here to sow anything outside? Or have slugs gotten to anything that might have germinated? We havent had much sunlight and night time temperatures are still a bit cold. Should I wait more or give and go get some more seed?

Sets are already germinated, growing plants so either you still have those or they died. Or you meant onion seeds. Was that last below 20F spell before or after you planted?

Hi,
sorry I spoke too soon. I got back home from work and checked on things, and I saw lots of seedlings in that bed. The onion sets(not seeds) are showing some growth as well.
Its all looking good so far.
