Not seeing any pop-up ads with Firefox.

Ron, I'm using Firefox too - maybe I need to check settings.

It was seriously severe the past couple of days. Didn't see it today.

I have Firefox, but often leave the blocker off.

I am using Firefox as well and am going NUTS with all the pop ups on this site! Some of the large video ads have locked up my computer and I've had to shut it down... clicking the [close] button doesn't work.

This never used to be a problem before!

They drove me crazy for a long time. Deleted the cookies and tried to block. It seemed as though they came and went. I finally started using Safari (yes, I am a Mac user) and never had a problem after that. I was close to not visiting here as it got so bad. I sure am glad it did not get to that point.

If you have IE, do the following:

Tools > Internet Options > Security >Restricted Sites > Sites
Add '*.doubleclick.net'

This works for me. If it works for too many of you, I suspect I'll be kicked off soon, and this message deleted. :-)

Aunatural...I saved your instructions, just in case!
I tend to use reverse psychology (or something like that) - any company that pays to have pop up ads on this site automatically goes on my boycott list. My attitude is "if you annoy me, I refuse to buy your product". I think it's only fair.

I have the Adblock extension installed on Firefox.

Maybe it is why I have never seen the pop ups people are talking about on this site.

I believe I also have many of the pop up sites blocked as advised above.
