    Island Charm:

I'm putting Island Charm on my wish list, Gesila; very nice!

Still waiting to see a mature Inniswood. Mine is still a babe, not yet ready for show-and-tell.

But here is a re-run of an old favorite of mine: Iona.

Here you go Steve. Not all that mature, though. Planted in 2010.

I have no "I"s except newly bought potted ones.
So here is a mature Inniswood from our local public garden:

Another Invincible, thus dispelling the notion that it is an automatic slug magnet; the torn leaf is from tree debris:

Thanks for all the invincibles. I'm really developing an attachement for it.

Bkay, my Invincible is still young; it has been sitting in the hot sun all summer (direct sun 11 am til 6:00 pm), I actually forgot I had it, so it's never been watered. It still looks good. Might be a good one for you.

Steve, my Island Charm is in the SW corner of my lot, it gets afternoon and evening sun. It's been a good grower. I checked it out at dusk this evening and it has sent out a new flush of leaves.

Frank, love your Ice Age Trail!

Here is my Island Charm, new last year.

Gesila, your plant looks great. On mine leaves from the first flush are melting out now. I have no idea why, it gets morning sun until 11 a.m. followed by dappled shade the rest of the day. We never had temperatures above 28ðC (82ðF) this summer and it's watered regularly. Neither of its mini neighbors has this problem.

Swed, I'm at the 42nd parallel and we've had days and days of temps over 90 degrees. I've had melting of white edged hostas in the shade but all of my ones that receive quite a bit of sun have done well.

Now that I read your post, I'm wondering if I move my Autumn Frost up to where it's getting more sun if that will stop the melting of the white edges.

Very impressed with this new one.

A mature 'Inniswood' as requested =)

Eleven, your Inniswood is simply stunning.

Thanks to all for showing me Inniswood at its various stages. I agree with nutmeg; where Ten used to be perfection, now it's Eleven.

LOL, thanks guys! I can only take credit for some mushroom compost and water these last four years. The plant was added by the previous homeowner sometime before that. Just this spring my husband asked if it was sick or "supposed to look that way" regarding the corrugation. =) BTW, that's a Sum and Substance behind it to the right, so it's a decent sized specimen.
