All I know is what I have just been reading - cool root run, bright light, even moisture. Not sure about ph for lucida - some are lime sensitive. I want to know more abut that big one in Seattle - anyone know how that one is growing?

Thanks Albertine: Mine has perfect conditions everything around it grows well ( did not check PH because everything else is oK)
Will see maybe someone else has some experience with it...Ours flowers every year, but it looks so very unhappy...

Not hardy enough to persist long term in this most of this region. An outer coastal garden where it seldom got below the 20's F. would be the place.
