It's difficult. It requires a cold period to germinate. It then takes another year to bloom. After that it usually disappears. Seedlings don't appear often in my yard; I don't know why. Maybe it's the slugs; they love these plants. I start a few seedlings in pots every year, just because I like unusual plants.
