Wisteria not jacaranda

Actually, this looks like a Chinese Wisteria. Down here in the Deep South, they are actually considered a nuisance plant in some areas. They grow VERY fast and can take over trees, power lines, houses, etc in only a few seasons.

FYI in addition to not growing here, Jacaranda flower clusters point up on bare branches, that is a wisteria growing up a tree
