What seed staples do you always have on hand?

The reason I ask is a local store (not sure I can post which one), is having a 50% off seed packet sale. I have a partial list of seeds I'll restock and get ready for next year's plantings. What about you, what are your must have seeds??

I like to have lettuce seeds on hand all the time. I try to have a flat of seedlings started every couple of weeks so I have one to pop into empty spots when i harvest something.

Why couldn't you post the name of the store? I'd like to know! :-)

Since I'm a newbie to the board I wasn't sure what the "protocol" was. If it's okay, Fred Meyer is having their Founder Day Sale with seed packets at 50% off! I know we have them in OR and I've seen them in WA. Thanks for the reply!!

Hello my name is Holly and I am addicted to collecting seeds. I stopped by the said store yesterday and love the suggestions you all provided. I ended up getting about 6 flower seeds for next year, as well as a whole bunch of veggie seeds. Lets just say I'm set for the next 2 years. I ended up spending $25 in total (with my 50% off coupon). I'm hostessing a seed swap for next season so we're getting a great deal!! Thanks for all of the wonderful suggestions! I got quite the variety of different seeds! I can't wait to try them!
