I bought two of these redbud trees & planted them last fall. They seem fine. They bloomed, & are putting out smallish leaves now. The only problem is that on both of them the lower, smaller branches never bloomed, nor are they putting out leaves, Should I just prune these naked branches away? They are pretty small in diameter.
