Black Lava Rock

I have an area that I wanted to use 1-2" crushed Black Lava Rock to cover. Just like the red lava rock that you see everywhere - but black instead. After an internet search, I could only find it at rock landscape supplier in Spokane, but I'm in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Has anyone ever seen this in bulk locally?

I'd try somebody like Manufacturers Mineral in Renton or maybe Iddings in Kent or maybe even Stoneway. If they don't have it, maybe they could tell you someone who does.

We used black lava rock for our backyard landscaping project 2 or 3 years ago and love it. We bought the rock in bulk at wal-mart. However we just expanded the project and need more rock and can not find it anywhere here in the midwest. Did you have any luck finding it?
