Search internet using name of state (or county) followed by extension.

Thank you for your suggestion, however, I actually did search the internet prior to posting on this forum. Unfortunately I found nothing that listed, month by month, which flowers/vegetables to plant. I was particularly interested in Western WA info.

Try this link. I use this to run in my monthly rose society newsletter. It's focused on the Seattle area but works well enough for all of the Puget Sound area.

Local independent nurseries should be able to help her too, and of course she can post and read here!

There IS a month-by-month gardening guide for this area - the Maritime Northwest Garden Guide published by Seattle Tilth and for sale at virtually any retail garden center in the area as well as at bookstores and online. The other helpful but somewhat less detailed month-by-month gardening advice is contained in each issue of Sunset magazine. Also, many area retail nurseries and garden centers publish either email, online or hardcopy newsletters that offer seasonal, if not monthly, advice in addition to offering countless different and very helpful classes. Suggest to your daughter that she visit a couple of the larger nurseries (NOT box stores) close to her new location to sign up or request specific, helpful advice.
