I use Mosquito dunks in all of my water gardens that do not have fish. I use citronella candles and torches when we are outside after dark and I spray myself with a citronella repellant from Bath and Body Works too.

I like the OFF Lantern. Keeps them away for hours plus its almost kinda romantic. Only problem is that you go thru the little candle and repellent pad pretty quick. About one a night and it costs like $5 for a set of three. One set is one candle and one repellent pad.
