I pulled my peas today. I was trying to figure out what to grow in the bed now, and haven't come up with anything. It's still too warm to plant more lettuce (which I pulled the last of today too...boo hoo!)

Maybe someone can give us both some ideas on what to plant this late in the summer. I will also go the the vegetable gardening forum and ask.

I plant peas again in August ( just maybe different kind than before.
Can plant arugula, oriental greens, spinach, turnip, salad greens in my area.If you wish you can plant green manure.Greens that you let grow untill they flower and then just mix them into soil.Very good soil food and you don't have to weed.I plant my Broad Beans that I love in the fall and get them ready to eat early Spring..
