I already have grown it for many years, would buy smaller sizes anyway. Smaller plants have been present at various times in recent years at local outlets. What is different about this offering is the size (and source) of the stock, which could be of interest to those wanting to start bigger - these might start blooming within a few years. Or be easier for some people to establish and maintain on some sites than one gallon or smaller stock.

I went to Monrovia's web site typed in Embothrium coccineum on their search window and got the result, "No item found". In the past with other species that they shipped you could find the outlets they shipped the plants to. I was hoping to see if any of the local nurseries (to Issaquah) got a shipment. The last plant I found this way was a hardy Schefflera sent to Newcastle Fruit & Garden from Monrovia.

I have also found that Monrovia's search engine doesn't work all that well!

I thought their dealer search just told you who was buying from them, not what they were buying. When looking for that item there works again I suppose their site might indicate the firetree is part of their Dan Hinkley Collection, as is the Schefflera. Temporarily allowing scripts increases what the Monrovia site does.
