dotty your peach tree looks like it's recovered very well. I looked at some of your other pics, your silk tree is gorgeous, double brug lovely. Those mushrooms are amazing. You're right the weather has not been the best for peaches,

Dotty, just looked at all your pictures. Your vegetable garden is so healthy looking! If you still don't know what your mystery plant is, it is a Tibouchina. It looks like we've got quite a few plants in common! But what are the bright orange flowers?

Hi Mystery Gardener. I don't know if we have met but I enjoy the pics on your website. Thanks for the name for my Tibouchi, I lost the tag. I think there are a lot of Vancouver Islanders on G/W -- it's a great site.
Madrone: the orange flowers are Azaleas but they came out like pom poms, I don't know why. The d---n deer have pruned them within an inch of their lives right now. My poor garden has some bright spots but I can't keep it under control and without a deer fence it is fairly hopeless. I've been absolutely thrilled with my experiments into lasagna gardening and the growth is phenominal.

Hi Dotty, I enjoyed your pictures too. I have a tibouchina and I can never get it to bloom until almost frost time. Also cereus - aren't they amazing spooky plants??! Thanks for sharing!
