I have a post on them on this forum right now with photos. So far it's a very nice plant for me, now 7' tall after being planting last year from a gallon plant. I just made more pudding from the berries.:-D

The one in my neighborhood has EXTRA long dangly earrings, longer than aunatural's photo, with lots of space between the bracts. Maybe because it's in the shade?

No, I keep it to myself.:-P I've offered it to DH but he prefers chocolate. I like caramel/butterscotch, so I like it. It is a subtle flavor as I don't have large quantities of berries for flavoring.

My plant is in full sun. Perhaps the difference in length of the blooms could be just an individual variation, or you could be right that being in the shade makes them longer.
