Years ago I helped run the Gardening Forum on CompuServe and I remember a lot of negative comments but no positive. Both the Northwest Perennial Alliance and Northwest Hort Society are good for speakers and classes and garden tours. Also, you're pretty close to Bellevue Botanical Garden and could volunteer there once in a while for a learning experience.

Last year I read a number of negative posts about them. I can no longer quote on the topics, but folks weren't happy dealing with them and I determined "not to go there".

I am a member and have been since 1999. They have an ok magazine, the gardenweb forum here is more informative. I have been only asked to test products 2x and both times the same product. I was under the impression they were supposed to be new products. I will not re-subscribe. Laurie
