And most retail nurseries schedule large fall planting sales in early September - in the Seattle area, Swanson's is starting on the 30th IIRC, Emery's will be in midmonth and Sky's about the same time. Of course, Wells-Medina is a no-sales nursery :-(

Thanks for the new info. That stinkin' Wells-Medina, I still love them (they're the only nursery around here that can get away with it, IMO).

Most of the websites and newsletters have announced the fall sales by now. so, I'll keep my eye out, and hope everyone posts the latest findings.

If you're down in the south end of Puget Sound, Watson's in Puyallup has an annual 40% off sale that starts 9/6. Vassey's Nursery in Puyallup has a 25% off sale that runs the duration of the Puyallup Fair.
