Brent and Becky's Bulbs online but I'm not trying to naturalize a large area. I think John Shleepers has bulbs for naturalizing cheap, check the Bulb Forum, they know.

I bought some from Costco two years ago and they were not true to variety.

I had Orientals turn out to be Asiatics and other Orientals turn out to be different than pictured but still Orientals.

Mostly poor results with CostCo bulbs here also, except for the camas they had once or twice.

I've read posts on other boards too.

The camas are back this year, saw some bags at the Shoreline store today.

Looking at Prince Charles' book on his garden one time I saw he planted a meadow in front of the house to Camassia leichtlinii, resulted in a large area of deep blue at flowering time. A native meadow flower, this would of course be a natural for naturalizing here. During pioneer times the same species was even found growing at Alki Point, in Seattle.

100 for $23. Better shop around for a better deal.

My new favorite is Colorlends.com. The quality last year was really good & they have price breaks for 100, or 1000.

My order from wholesaler, Van Engelen Inc., just arrived. Very reasonable prices, excellent variety, top quality and great opportunity for large orders.

I did pick up some Camassia leichtlinii bboy thanks.

Shop around I have Muddydogs and I have yet to find cheaper than .23 cents.

If you know of a cheaper place I would love to know about it.

I'd pay more to be sure of what I'm getting.......

I have ordered three times from Colorblends and have been extremely pleased. Great prices, great service, great big fat bulbs, and no unpleaseant surprises in the spring.

The only catch is you have to order in bulk, but maybe you can combine orders with a friend.
