Here's a few that will give you food next year: purple sprouting broccoli, garlic, walla walla onion seed, cabbage if you can get seed for 180-220 day varieties. Enjoy those raised beds! Tom

Territorial is a good seed house and they do their own seed trials. My only gripe with them is that they've stopped carrying overwintering cabbage and cauliflower that you transplant out next month, they hold their own over winter and then mature in spring. Thompson and Morgan has the cauli and I can't find a source for the cabbage in the Statets. My overall favorite seed house is Johnnys who also does extensive seed trials. For the best variety choices for asian vegetables go to Evergreen Seeds website. If the night temps stay as cool as they are now I don't know if lettuce will do anything unless you already have transplants ready to go in. Radish and baby turnip still may be worth a try. Tom

thank you all! I just picked up some red leaf lettuce, green broccoli, and onion plugs from Joe's. And a lovely woman who works there threw in some of the extra kale starts from her garden.

I've always bought from Territorial, Baker Creek, Tomato Growers Supply and Victory Seed. Ed Hume looks promising for the future.
