Didn't Spike decamp years ago? I would try the nice folks on the PNW exchange forum, regardless. There is a plant sale coming up in early November (which I am sadly unable to attend) and I think I saw some reference to the Acer seeds you are seeking.

My goodness! I pull this weed out left right and centre and someone's looking for seed of the darn thing!

The Maple Leaf is THE Canadian symbol...and Canada, of course, is only the original Upper and Lower Canada- Ontario and Quebec. So I always delight in taking eastern Canadians through my forest showing them the maple leaves we have here in BC that grow a foot across on trees 200 feet tall...not like them puny leafed maple shrubs that they have back east that they call trees... some even grow on hills they audaciously call mountains!!!!!!

I guess tomorrow I'll take a stroll and see what I can fine seedwise for you- how many bagsfull do you want?

You could try this guy. On his old website he mentioned collecting Acer macrophyllum seeds from the colder east slope of the Cascades.

Thank you, you've got mail! Believe me, when living in the country of Acer platanoides you get quite used to weeding them, I doubt one more maple would make a difference...
