Are you referring to Baptisia? Even dwarf baptisia (B. minor) is a pretty tall plant for a ground cover. And tends not to spread very much, either. Not knowing exactly what you intend with this plant, you should know it is herbaceous (dies to the ground in winter) and has a limited bloom period. Otherwise, it does grow here and quite well - just needs sun and good drainage.
