Time to pick wine grapes

I hope we get a few more days of sunshine cause my wine grapes don't really seem to be ready. Wondered if anyone else is trying to grow wine grapes locally, and if so, where and when do you plan to harvest?

I picked the Siegerrebes already--- at least the few that the hornets didn't already eat.

WE just harvested our two grapevines but not for wine - we just make juice with a steamer. They are Interlaken, okay for eating, probably not that great for wine. This year the vines were loaded with fruit but when I sampled, not very sweet. I kept waiting for them to sweeten, but finally the raccoons got most of them! They left a bit for us.

sugar readings were pathetically low compared to 2007. My average brix for the wine must was a low 17.5, when last year it was 22.5. If anyone is doing home wine growing please tell me how your season went.
