I think the beavers are solving the problem. We have very few cottonwood trees left on the lakeshore. Unfortunately, they are building a dam near the Indian Road park and raising the water level in the lake which means that there is less in and out flow from the lake. As you can see from the pic, the water is very green which should change now that our rains have started. We didn't have beavers on Quamichan Lake until about 5 years ago.
