I have seen indications of them being grown here, as with all orchard fruits results obtained will depend on which particular cultivars are attempted and what the planting site is like. If you are out on the valley floor there may be problems with cold and damp at flowering time. In general stone fruits are the most problematic kinds to attempt here. I would not bank on the apricot being a total success either. Definitely I would give it the most sunny, favorably warm and well-drained aspect possible. You will need both good soil and air drainage. If you are on the flat or in a hollow it may not be a very successful project.
