What are those great purple-leaved plants? And where did you plant all those sedums?

The purple leafs belong to weigela 'Midnight Wine' a cultivar of 'Wine and Roses'. I hunted for them for three years because they claim to mature as a perfect mound at 18". I actually tripped across them at Carpinito's in Kent of all places. I just had it in my head that I wanted a patterned contrasting border along this section of my kidney shaped lawn so the sedums alternate in front of the weigela and a couple of different varieties of spirea alternate behind.
