Bloom Withdrawal

I woke up this morning to a severe case of bloom withdrawal and decided that the only remedy was to find another camellia to go with my 'Marie Bracey' (Spellbound). I originally had the 'MB' planted near my front door but had to move it to a shadier location. What I was thinking about is trying the new one in a large container that I could have on my front porch during bloom season when the sunlight exposure is not as big of an issue (Nov thru Feb or so) and then moving it over next to the 'MB' after it's done blooming. Is this doable or am I in exposure denial?
