An idea for a winter seed sowing event in January

So I could not bring all the seeds I've collected to the Green Elephant.

I'm proposing a winter seed sowing event indoors Friday evening, say 6:30-8:30 pm January 4 or 11; or Saturday morning or afternoon on January 12.

The way I see it, we will all be ready to slit our wrists from the winter darkness. It's still a month before the NWF&G show. This event could save my LIFE!

We can collect poinsettias and use them for winter sowing. I do this every January. Cut off the poinsettia, top-sow the seed, add a little more dirt, label and you're ready for spring.

I like it! You can count me in. I did bring some pots and soil but never got to the sowing of seeds last weekend. This sounds great!

I wish I could be there. However, on all three dates I am in the Philippines. Happy wintersowing everybody. I'll see you all in March.

I vote for Saturday afternoon. I come from Tacoma and just can't get up there early, because I have to count on an hour lost in Redmond somewhere. Excellent idea! Susan

Sunday afternoons work too. Say, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. I have to check the calendar to see what's open.
