It's right up the street and I drive by it all the time, but I've never really noticed if they have a big spring sale. Many area nurseries will have a bare root sale, usually very early, like February, but this will most likely be deciduous trees and shrubs, fruits and roses - your typical bare root offerings. Sometimes there are add-ons, like hedging shrubs or early perennials, but it's not a given. I know Sky does have an early bare root sale, typically around the same time as the NW Flower and Garden show, as do Swanson's and Emery's.

May is the peak of the local retail nursery season and there's not much incentive for having a sale when retail nurseries can barely keep up with the plant demand at full prices at that time of year :-) Since Sky is undergoing a major rennovation this season, sales maybe more frequent than in the past. Your best bet for advance notice of sales and special offers or events is to sign up for a mailing list or e-notices......most local nurseries have them.

I vaguely remember, but Sky had some kind of sale in May or June that I purchased several plants last year... But it must be just for selected plants... I'll try to ask them next time I go there...
