Has anyone used this to remove chlorine and chloramines from water being used for compost tea? I've been reading up on this and it seems it will remove chlorine and chloramines from the water but would this have any affects on the compost tea? Would this be considerd an organic method? Hoping someone can help me out with this.

According the people at the San Francisco Water Authority disolving 1 1,000 mg Ascorbic Acid tablet in a bathtub full of water will de chloramine that water, in about 1/2 hour. Fruit slices will do the same thing, but boiling does not seem to always eliminate all of the chloramine.
