I love that pond! and the bench (iris are pretty too) and the peony. I may have that same one.

Tell us more details about the pond, please. How deep? liner?
pump? fish? I would love one, but with all the cats and the digger dog, it probably wouldn't last long.

Ooo, pretty! My dog would make a disaster of a pond otherwise I'd have one. And I love the iris and peony. Every spring I fall in love with iris all over again.

I just noticed your driftwood has a face and arms. : )

I bought a big load of top soil. It turned out to be clay not much good for gardening. I dug a hole in it and lined it with an ugly waterbed that I split up. I loved the frogs and goldfish, but it was ugly. I made the hole bigger and bought a liner forget the size. I don't know how to join pieces of liner so I don't know how to make a big pond. There is no electricity at the pond, so I have to use an extension cord across the yard if I want to run the pump. I have done that before Honey; I moved it to mow. Honey would chew a cord. Then I put rock around it from the dirt road. Later I bought prettier rock and rearranged the rock. I rearranged the rock and edge again this year to make it a few inches deeper. It is just below knee deep. Honey is the only dog who jumps in. He doesn't hurt it, just paddles around and drinks. I have a pump and a spitter. Sometimes I run the pump and make the spitter spit into a pillow. There is a plastic box around the filter to keep out leaves, but I don't have a proper filter. The water is very green; it doesn't bother me.
