My hoses are still outside and I need to get them put away. I just haven't gotten around to it. Lets hope we won't need them quite so much next summer. It isn't as dry here as Joplin but the rain was still welcome.

I guess I won't be able to count my casualties until spring but I have a few that I'm pretty sure will be on the list. I have two perennial geraniums that disappeared, Rozanne and Dragon Heart, a variegated silene and Rolly's Favorite (silene/lychnis hybrid), and a crab apple tree that I grew from seed several years ago. :( I had a gold hosta that I grew from seed that I was sentimentally attached to too that disappeared. I'm hoping some of those will magically reappear in the spring.

Last time we were in Joplin, I hinted about nursery shopping but it didn't happen. lol

I need to put away some hoses too. We ended up with 3.5 inches total! Just wonderful.

Helen, you made me do it! my box of bulbs from Bluestone came today.....at least the ground will be soft now. They had some really good buys....I got a variety of things, none that appeal to
the moles.

My rain gauge has 4 1/2" in it. Lovin'it! Now a few days for that to soak in, and then some more, please!

I got about 5 inches total. I had a hard freeze weeks ago, but I am glad to get the rain. The dry pattern worried me because a few years ago we had two years of dry weather.
