I Need your Advice!!!

I recently got a 42" Led Tv but my brother and i disagreed on how high it should be hung. HE wants it to be lower so that when he sits it will be at eye level and i recommended that it be almost at eye level when you are standing. IS THERE a standard for the correct height of a hung flat screen TV. Please let me know?

"Place the TV at eye-level. For the best viewing angle, place the TV low so that when you are seated, your head is even with the middle of the screen.
