Greetings, this is one of three Christmas palms I planted on the side of my house. I'd like to know what's wrong with it, if it's going to die and/or if I can still save it.

Some background info on it.
*They were potted in 15 gallon recipients.
*I bought them last October from a local nursery.
*I found fire ants going in and out of the split.
*A friend of mine told me that I planted them too deep. So we cleared a little soil around them.
*Im located in the southern part of zone 9b.
*The other two palms are doing just fine.
