There are any number of insects those could be and how to control them depends, somewhat, on what they are. Crawlies in potted plants are, for the most part, there because the growing media is kept too wet. The linked article might be of some help understanding, and controlling, what you have.

Rinzler, your descriptions sound rather like whiteflies and springtails, both of which can be fairly common to containerized plants.

It's up to you to do a little research about both of those small insects and decide if they are what you've been seeing or not. No one can help you get rid of anything without knowing for certain what they are.

Also, there are a couple of plants that go by the name 'money tree'. Is yours Pachira aquatica or another?
