This plant is suffering from some disease

I don't know what is the name of this plant, but somebody suggested it to be poplar when I posted it's picture on garden forum. Now it is suffering from some disease, a close up photo is also attached. Please let me know what is the disease and what to do. thanks

did you try the name that plant forum??? .. might need some better pix though ...

what does it matter.. wont the leaves be falling off inside a month???

its not really time to be treating deciduous plants for leaf damage ...

you have a leaf miner of some kind ... but those often depend on what tree it is ...

the buds sure look like something from the poplar family ...

BTW .... i would be more concerned with a tree being that close to the fence... especially a rogue seedling tree ... as those are seldom great trees.. for small backyards ...

Leafminers. Remove & discard all such damaged leaves you can reach.
