I had a trade with joyce were she told me she would send me 7 cobweb hen and chicks that were 2 inches across..saying they would fill a 4in pot. This was for 2 epies that I considered large rooted cutting because of the section of plant they were taken from it was the large leaves. There was a 3rd epie that was small that I traded for some red easter cactus cuttings that were suposed to be rooted...they were not rooted.
What i got was 5 hen and chicks that were no more the 1 inch across..not the 7, 2 inch ones i was told. An ALL of them were rotting from the bottom. I got an email from Joyce after i recieved them telling me they had been overwatered and the bottom leaves were mushy..well mushy in succulents = rot and death. Every single H&C died. I had one that hung on a little longer but it to died.
When I ask for these to be replaced I was told that we were evern because my epeis were not large. I did not know what was considered large and i have since inquired on the catus and succulent forum and have learned. However my epies were very nice and very well rooted and estabished cuttings.
I was told I would not be getting anything..so basically i have a couple very small(2 leaf) easter cactus cutting(not rooted) for my 3 epies. I feel I got cheated and that this trader is not honest or reliable and I could not in good faith recommend her. She got good plants and refused to hold up her end even when she knew what she sent me was bad.
