i agree wholeheartedly with crabtreestudio. i wish someone had an answer for this question. i have spent hours on various search engines searching moravian star light/lamp/pendant with no luck finding this particular one.

Rejuvenation lighting has started making these in a couple different sizes that are very nice - also available on rod hangers instead of chains

Thank you morganza. i checked rejuvenation but i didnt find this more modern version. meyda tiffany makes a traditonal moravian star as well, but i only like the ones in this photo. so i am still looking and waiting to replace my stairwell fixture.

Rejuvenation does have it - you have to get the "George" fixture, then change the shade to the "Moravian Star"

The stars in the picture are a lot nicer, tho - so, they might be custom or antique

I agree...there's a simplicity to this star unlike the other's. It looks bigger than 18". Would LOVE to know if it can be purchased or if it was custom.

thank you de-cor, it's just not close enough. the one i was searching for is a larger, more elongated modern version on a pole not a chain, as shown in original photo. i have to admit that i finally threw in the towel and went an entirely different direction getting Quoizel Luxe 4 light, another modernized version of a classic.

I am pretty sure this one comes from Circalighting and by the designer CF Chapman.
