Since this rose is so old I would post your question over on the Antique Rose forum. They will have a better chance of giving you the correct ID.

This rose looks like my marie pavie. According to antique rose emporium it's dainty almost thornless and it's fragrant. Mine has multi blooms on one stem and the actual blooms are small. Again, mine is still young. Mine will also fade from light pink to almost creamish white.

It looks very much like 'Dr W Van Fleet' or 'New Dawn' to me. They are the same plant, really, except that 'New Dawn' is a re-blooming sport of 'Dr W Van Fleet'.

I see thorns in some of the photos, but you didn't mention them- both 'DWVF' and 'ND' are quite thorny, especially on older growth. If you don't have lots of thorns, it's some other rose.

So if your rose only blooms in the spring (with many an occasional flower here and there) you'd have 'DWVF', but if your rose keeps blooming, you'd have 'ND'. Otherwise, they are the same.

New Dawn doesn't get that pink, and it would be the size of a small mountain if grown since the 1930's.
