we have a lot of dated buildings down here, i suggest this option to many of my buyers, what an amazing job! for those that like spacious floor plans the older buildings are the way to go...

The floors are are a 24x24 rectified tile. They are thicker than typical floor tiles and each tile is heavy! They are porcelain with a bonded white layer on top. They were called glasstile, so I assume glass is a component of the surface layer.
We wanted the floor to have a monolithic look as much as possible so we wanted tiles laid with no grout lines, which was done by setting them in a 'mud bed' instead of just thinset so that the tiles could be perfectly leveled. We love the floors.

This project was our first experience with hiring a design firm ( a good experience). Furnishings were all ordered by designer so I am not 100% sure where some things came from. The white table with chairs was not expensive ..possibly pottery barn but I'm not certain.
The white sideboard was one of a few pieces that the designer ordered from a company in Italy.
I will post more pictures, and attach them to this post once I get back to FL to take more ( something went wrong with my camera and all pics were bad). The posted pic was one I happend to take with my phone.

@jagrawal7 Oops, I said the white table and chairs (they are actually yellow) were Pottery Barn, but they were Crate and Barrel.

Yes Nechamaj, we added ceiling recessed lighting throughout the condo. We were fortunate that the ceiling was not concrete, and has a space between floors of the building. In many of the fixtures we used the new Philips Hue bulbs that I can control from my iPad. I like these bulbs because I can change the color to crazy colors or I have control over the color of the whites that the bulbs put out, so lots of options to create the moods one wants.

Nechamaj....the Philips Hue bulbs are only sold at Apple stores
