These roses are all new to me and they are gorgeous. Your garden must be the delight of the neighbourhood.

Ginger Syllabub? That's an unusual name. It looks fantastic!

Aprille I have never heard of Senegal, Ginger Syllabub, Everest Double Fragrance, Grey Dawn.
These are some unusual names and colors, well except for Janet.
What a lovely bunch of amazing roses.
That is why when I am mail ordering roses, I try to get one or two that is not overly mentioned.

    Aprille,
All are gorgeous, but I also love Baron Girod d'Lain! I planted it last spring, but it didn't bloom until about a month ago....so far it isn't all that floriferous, but I think it will change when the weather stays warmer here! :0) Phyl

Aprille----Isn't it exciting when you see a new rose bloom for the first time---

Your roses are lovely and so different.

This set of roses is all very beautiful also. Your pics are excellent too. I like the color of Senegal that's really rich. I agree with the others, you have a lot of varied roses and all of them simply gorgeous. It must give you a lot of pride and a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment to see what your hard work gives back to you:)

Thanks miss flippins - the neighbours do joke that I should start charging a fee for people to come see my rose garden - lol - they all know what a crazy rose addict I am :o)

Randy - Ginger Syllabub is new this year for me, it's one of the few Hortico roses that actually made it! Lovely fresh fragrance and I love the colour, it's very soft, a rose you'd want to get lost in.

Niecey, thank you - when I buy roses, like you I sometimes go for the not so commonly known roses, makes it more interesting. I got Everest Double fragrance from Heirloom roses last year, it's very very fragrant and supposed to smell different in the morning with another fragrance in the afternoon - I've not had time to check this out though ...

Phyl, I love the Baron - he's new to me and I've had 3 blooms so far, it was a bit late starting out, but I'm seeing some new growth and more buds coming - it's such an unusual and interesting rose.

Carla, Janet is an Austin, she's very pretty. Everest Double has an amazingly strong fragrance ... I'm not very good at defining fragrance .... strong old rose (?) maybe - the fragrance is strongest in the evening.

Florence - that is so true - nothing like that first bloom on a rose you've just got. It's like Christmas for me :o)

Leslie Thank you. there is nothing more rewarding than working in the garden and seeing the results - as ALL of you know! that's why I love sharing my pictures here - I know how you all feel - it's amazing, never having met any of you, I feel like you are all such dear friends and I love 'visiting' with you guys here. Amazing how a common passion can link us all together.

Aprille, what a special group of roses you
    have and incredible pics.
Talk to me about Janet. Is she growing like a
climber for you? Very fragrant? This is an Austin
I'm considering strongly, if she's available next year.
Ginger Syllabub. Does it rebloom well? How big
is it getting for you? Any rust problems?
Thank's for posting these Aprille!!! Please keep posting!!!

Devon - thank you. Janet is a beauty. She has an arching growth habit but is not too tall so I would not say climber, but she could use some support, I have her in a pot for now (ran out of space 80+ roses ago!!) she's very fragrant to my nose - love the colour. I think you'll be happy with her.

Ginger Syllabub - what can I say - I'm totally in love with this rose! Lovely fragrance (very strong), tons of blooms - still not done with blooms - I think it has great rebloom - it's a climber, but so far I have it free standing and it seems to do fine - no sign of rust yet - but then again I don't get a lot of that around here - so far she's at about 5 feet tall.

    Hope this helps.

Aprille, your roses are all lovely, and definitely not run-of-the-mill. Hmmm, something new and different to consider for next spring.....
