shock can kill seedlings... you have to be gradual about it, a couple hours one day, then a couple more than that the next. Taking about 3 days to do it... It's called 'hardening off'. Because I have a long growing season, I start my salvia seeds outside, I am not good at the patience thing. :o)

Thanks , the first day they were fine, but it was overcast, the second day was very sunny, so from now on it will only be a couple hrs if its sunny. I dont believe it killed them , for they had some pretty good size to them.

Avoid over watering and over fertilizing them at this stage.

You need to be very careful about putting plants in front of glass in the sun because the glass magnifies the heat and strength of the sun to burning proportions. I'm sure your "babies" just had a case of heat-stroke.
